Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit practice that blends movement, breath, and intention to promote optimum health and wellness. It’s also been referred to as "energy yoga." There are thousands of styles of qigong – tai chi is the most well-known. We’ll practice various styles.
Tapping into the wisdom of Chinese Medicine, qigong flows are crafted for seasonal healing. As we transition from winter to spring, we’ll embrace both water and wood element qigong styles. This practice supports kidney and liver health, enhancing vitality, circulation, brain function, strength, flexibility, resilience, and more.
To support your wellness journey, we’ll end our flow with self-guided acupressure. Acupressure involves applying pressure to key points on the body to relieve tension, pain, and stress, while promoting circulation and balanced energy flow (similar to acupuncture but without needles).
