Qigong, pronounced “chee gong”, literally translates from Chinese to “energy cultivation”. This ancient mind-body-spirit practice (also called “energy yoga”) combines gentle movement, meditation, and breath to promote optimum health and wellness. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, states of being (illness/disease and health/wellness) are a result of how energy flows within our minds and bodies.
There are a number of benefits from practicing qigong:
